Enjoying the Day of the Dead celebration with our family
They also have a fireplace, and all of us usually get the fire going in the fireplace towards the night hours because it can get a little bit frosty during the night
Every year, all of us always go down to our neighboring country to the South to be with family and celebrate the Day of the Dead. This has been a tradition for us for as long as I can remember. Both of us always go to the cemetery where our enjoyed ones have been buried and all of us go to decorate their graves. Believe it or not, it can be warm occasionally during this time of year that far south, so all of us always have the a/c plan on when all of us are driving down there. Both of us always help with all the decorations including all types of flower assortments and papel picado which is a special decoration of chiseled paper to create banners for these special occasions. Both of us tidy up the graves of our enjoyed ones and place all the decorations down and all of us think about the memories of our enjoyed ones who are resting in peace. Then all of us celebrate back at home with all kinds of delicious food, songs, singing, and laughter. I’m always grateful because our family has a enjoyable Heating and A/C plan that keeps the condo just right with the ideal temperature control settings. They also have a fireplace, and all of us usually get the fire going in the fireplace towards the night hours because it can get a little bit frosty during the night. Both of us always have a toast to our enjoyed ones and I always feel like their spirits are with us during our celebrations. It might seem superstitious to some people, but this is what all of us suppose and all of us have been enjoying these celebrations for as long as I can remember.
