I’m worried about indoor air now that we’re being forced back to work
Last week, we decided to go back to the office after easily working from our houses and apartments for the past four full months.
And I was absolutely hopeful that we would be able to continue easily working from home, but the boss prefers to keep tabs on all of the employees.
It’s not like I cannot get my tasks done at my apartment on my own without supervision. The company keeps tabs on our network logs plus they know when we aren’t being productive. It absolutely didn’t make sense to send us back to task earlier than necessary, but I didn’t have a choice when the boss made the demand. Thankfully, the boss provided us with a strong HEPA air cleaner, then everyone in the office is trying to stay healthy, plus that starts with indoor air cleaning. However, none of us can wear masks at work, because we spend most of the day on the phone with our customers. It’s hard to understand anything being said when there is a mask in the way. I know the masks help keep us safe, but they make it severely hard to hear. The HEPA air cleaner in the office runs continuously, even when no person is in the building. It’s loud plus noisy, but it works to remove all of the allergens, dust, debris, plus viruses that might be stagnant in the indoor air. But so far, no person in the office has been diagnosed with Covid-19; then as long as we continue following usual universal precautions, we should be safe. There are hand sanitizer stations all over the locale plus hourly sanitizing scrub downs by the office housekeeping staff. Between the monthly vigorous cleanings plus the HEPA air cleaner, this locale is virtually safer than my own apartment.
