Freezing cold when I got back to visit with my family
I went to see my Grandma over Christmas this past year.
I hadn’t seen her for a long while.
Since I had gone to college, I hadn’t been back to the household. I was so tied up laboring all through the warm season and laboring on all of my off time, that going back to the household wasn’t simple for me. I was going to school in the South and my family lived in New England. I graduated this past winter, and I couldn’t wait to get back to the household and see my family. As soon as I got off the plane, I took a taxi to my Grandma’s place. I couldn’t wait to see her. I couldn’t actually believe how freezing I was. I asked the taxi driver if she could please turn up the heating device in the back seat; I was shivering so hard. I was cheerful to get to Grandma’s place. She always had the temperature control high since she was always freezing. I now knew how she was feeling, and I was looking forward to enjoying the comfort of her gas furnace as much as she did. When I got to Grandma’s household, it surprised me to find that she wasn’t at the household. I got back into the taxi, shivering even harder, and gave her the directions to my mom’s place. I was shocked to find most people waiting for me at the household. My Grandma was there, all of my sisters and my parents, all waiting for me to arrive. My mother had my outdated room all made up, and she even added a space heater. She told me she knew the cold would bother me after so many years of being in the South. She even had the temperature control turned up, and I had to supply her a hug for being incredibly thoughtful.
