Air quality in school
I’m always curious about the experiences that my generation has to go through.
This is especially when it comes to education and cultural variations in our lifetimes.
How much did you enjoy school when you were growing up? When I was a young kid I enjoyed studying all the time, but I did not appreciate going to school. I dreaded the experience day in and day out. The reason? I hated the school house because the environment was so dirty plus uncomfortable. I had terrible dust sensitivities, plus I spent every day coughing and sneezing my eyes out thanks to the horrible indoor air pollen levels inside school! No one cared plus all the kids made fun of my sniffles. These times as a parent, I hear that things have not been improved in the educational system. I know this because my kids are always annoyed with their school experiences, plus because the indoor air is not quality controlled. I know from looking at the donation letters that the property has not replaced their heating, cooling, and air quality control system in 25 years. The oil powered heating plus cooling system that is installed there to take care of the indoor air has been failing plus nothing is fixing the problem. Clearly, all of these Professional heating and cooling service appointments they arrange only keep the indoor air handling system technically operable and barely functioning. The school realizes that it needs to invest in a brand new heating and cooling system, with HEPA air filters along with newer media air cleaners to handle all the dust sensitivities in the town, however they don’t have money. Meanwhile, my kids are expected to learn without being able to breathe. How about we fix the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C or I’m going to be homecollegeing the whole town.
