The A/C doesn’t seem to reach the top floor of our house
I don’t know what the deal is with the central air conditioning system in our house, but for some reason, the A/C doesn’t ever seem like it wants to reach up to the top floor where all of our bedrooms are. I guess it’s true that heat rises, but I never really knew how true that old saying actually was until the summer last year when the air conditioning seemed to stop working on the entire second floor of our house. I wish that our bedrooms were down on the bottom floor, since that’s where the air conditioning seems to work just fine. The problem is that whenever we turn the thermostat down so that the central air conditioning comes on, the rest of the house gets freezing cold but anyone who is upstairs is still complaining about how hot they are. It’s getting to be a terrible situation and I’m beginning to think that we are really going to have to start sleeping downstairs on the couch and in sleeping bags because it’s just so hot upstairs. I don’t really know much about heating and cooling systems, so I’m not sure why the air conditioning system wouldn’t be making it upstairs when it does so well cooling the lower floor of our house. I guess I’m going to have to call my local HVAC company and have them come out to take a look at everything. It’s going to be a long, hot summer if we don’t have air conditioning upstairs. I’m hoping that they can get everything worked out.
